Why on Earth is it coming on 2 discs - surely it must all fit on 1.
Everybodys looking forward to 'the complete simpsons - episodes 1 thru 5000' on a single disc.
If they cant fit Indy 4 on a single disc!
Doesnt bode well for my dream of all Starwars or all the Lord of the Rings movies being on a single disc..............
They need to make it mandatory for all future games to have trophies - its not the be all and end all of gaming but really - consistency is the key.
Agree about Starwars games in general though - Still waiting on Kotor3.............
IMO Too Human is gonna be a game people love or hate - theres no room for middle ground here.
All in all i think that the media will end up giving this 7's/8's - a month down the road metacritic scores will probably be around 75%.
Still a nice score though and well above average. :D
Sony have a huge mascot potential here.
Kratos,Crash Bandicoot and Solid Snake are all well and good but 'Sackboy' has something about him that i strongly believe will appeal to the massess.
Hardcore gamers will like the game because of the level builder.
The casuals will like it because of its cuteness and a character they can warm to.
If Sony go crazy on the marketing then i think this could be in the top 10 sellers this christmas ...

Looks like a new and fresh take on a genre but i have some concerns........
Micromanagement is important in this style of game but this game i think could be lacking on this front.
Anybody living in the uk and have Virgin TV - on Saturday/Sunday there was a tv programme on called PlayrZ with this very game on show.
If you have Virgin TV then look on the 'catch up on demand' section and there are 3 'PlayrZ' programmes around 11am - 12.30pm on sunday...
I think that after seeing Assassins Creed at E3 everyone was really hyped for this and it turned out poor.
Also Renegade 3 on the Spectrum - travelling through time? noooooooo.
Altered Beast - seeing that in the arcades and my jaw hitting the floor then playing it and learning gameplay > graphics.
Also GTA4 - i dont know anyone who prefers this over the older games - hyped to hell but very underwhelming.
I think you can lose track of time - especially when you get 'in the zone'.
I remember the first time i went online with Halo2 one evening at 9pm.

You play games for the fun and if you unlock something then cool, its a bonus.
Playing a game that 'sucks' just for achievement/trophy bonuses will be a chore and thats not what gaming is all about surely.........
Alan Wake will be premiered on Sony's mythic HOME accessory alongside the legendary new Duke Nukem game.
Nintendo are secretive yes but they should be doing some advertising regarding their 'big guns' for latter in the year.

You could have the best graphics in the world waiting on your blu-ray disc but if only so much fits in and is usable by the architecture itself then this point is kinda moot.
Amount of Ram > Disc size
Not saying that the disc size isnt important though but things like installs help the games run better imo..........
It makes you wonder what theyve got up their sleeves for the futute - what with optional game installs and such.

After Sonic3 the series went downhill - Sonic just doesnt work in 3D at all.
Slower paced platformers might, Mario for instance but moving at 300mph into the screen whilst trying not to 'fall off' is frustrating and not fun.
I think that Sonic has probably had his day as a gaming icon - Mario and Link are the only other 'true' mascots in gaming and they dont really hold as much weight as they did in the Sega vs Nintendo wars.

Smaller more intricately paced games with tighter gameplay usually > big games with not much depth.

Alot of people say that this is better than most Mario outings and is certainly a solid 4/5 in my book.
